Ruhi graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science (Musculoskeletal Therapy) from Endeavour College of Natural Health. She also holds a Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy and Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy and is a member of the Australian Natural therapists Association (ANTA).

Ruhi has a great fascination of the human body and gets great joy and fulfillment in being able to help patients with their musculoskeletal problems. As a Myotherapist/ Musculoskeletal therapist, her goal for any type of treatment is to help her patients to restore the integrity of the muscular system by decreasing pain, improve muscular strength and flexibility which in turn improves the quality of life. Her clinical approach has always been to assess and treat the musculoskeletal system, treating her patients with compassion, honesty and professionalism.

An initial consultation typically consists of medical history taking, postural assessment, range of motion testing, orthopaedic examination, muscle testing and neurological assessment, always followed by treatment, unless contraindicated. In her practice, in addition to deep tissue therapy, Ruhi incorporate ancillary techniques such as cupping, Myofascial Dry Needling, Remedial massage techniques, myofascial stretching, NMT, MET, articulation techniques, Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy, corrective exercises such as stretching and strengthening. Myotherapy/Musculoskeletal therapy can be used to compliment Chiropractic treatment or be utilised as a sole treatment modality.

Myotherapy/Musculoskeletal treatment can be used for many types of injuries or conditions that are caused by muscular strain, ligament sprain, poor posture, and recreational, occupational or emotional stress. MST/Myotherapy can also assist with treatment/management of conditions such as: neck pain, back pain, headaches/migraines, arthritis, repetitive strain injury and overuse injury such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis/golfer elbow, shoulder conditions, tendonitis/ Tendinopathy, muscular weakness/numbness, swelling of limb, restricted mobility of the joint and stiffness, Chronic fatigue syndrome and Fibromyalgia, and also pregnancy.
